WHO'S YOUR COACH...

Before I became a coach, speaker, and go-to expert in time and energy management, I had a very different relationship with time.

The old Alice? She was a perfectionist and a people pleaser — never a good combo. I took on everything, trying to be Superwoman. I thought I was maximising life… but really, I was compromising me — my health, my wellbeing, my mental and physical state. I was anxious, on edge, and (if I’m honest) a bit snappy with the people I loved most.

I felt guilty if I wasn’t doing something “productive.” Slowing down? Resting? Chilling? Nope — I didn’t allow myself that luxury. I even cut into sleep just to squeeze more into my day. Oops.

I was always rushing — mind racing, constantly multitasking, literally running from one meeting to the next. I didn’t even watch TV because I told myself I “didn’t have time for that.”

On the surface, I looked like a time management queen: I was organised, meal prepped, met deadlines, planned everything, and was the go-to person to get sh*t done. I had a so-called “great work-life balance” — clocking off at 5pm, seeing friends, going to the gym.

But on the inside? Chaos.

I couldn’t switch off. I felt like I always had to be on. And in 2019, in my early 30s, I burnt out.

That’s why I’m on a mission — to help you take back control of your time and energy, so you can create a life by design.
